I started this the day the Pope died....I was thinking of things spiritual.  I want to do more along this line, the more subtle moments, not the regular bible stories that everyone is familiar with.   This piece actually centers on the garnet drops.

Sheer fabric overlaid on thread and ribbons on a hand dyed background.  The robe is dupioni silk.
